The Book Of Mormon

About The Book of Mormon

The Book of Mormon is playing at the Prince of Wales Theatre, London. Winner of four Olivier Awards, including Best New Musical, this musical from Trey Parker and Matt Stone follows two Salt Lake City Mormons who are sent as missionaries to Uganda.

The story puts them in the middle of harsh realities and a particularly unpleasant warlord, with songs by Avenue Q’s Robert Lopez. It deals with religion and consumerism, and is presented as a rude, potentially offensive comedy that is also unexpectedly endearing.

Running time: 2 hours 30 minutes including interval. Awards: four Olivier Awards, including Best New Musical.
