The Book of Mormon is at the Prince of Wales Theatre in London. The musical was created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, with music by Robert Lopez, and won four Olivier Awards, including Best New Musical.
It tells the story of two Salt Lake City Mormons sent as missionaries to Uganda, where they are met with harsh realities and a warlord. The show combines comedy with themes including religion and consumerism.
The production has been described as an all-singing, all-dancing musical that is both rude and unexpectedly endearing. It remains a popular West End show.
Running time: 2 hours 30 minutes including interval.
This production contains strobe lighting, flashing lights, gunshots and explicit language. Children under 3 will not be admitted. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a ticketholder aged 18 or over and sat next to them.
Everyone, regardless of age, must have their own ticket to enter the theatre. Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance. No food or drink purchased elsewhere may be brought into the theatre.
