About

About Beetlejuice

Beetlejuice at the Prince Edward Theatre is a musical based on Tim Burton’s film. It follows Lydia Deetz, a strange and unusual teenager, as she shares her home with a pair of newly-deads and Beetlejuice, the demonic ghost with the most.

The show uses a gleefully irreverent book, head-spinning set design and a score described as coming from the Netherworld. Its story combines supernatural comedy with a weirdly life-affirming edge, centred on Lydia and the chaos that follows Beetlejuice’s repeated name being said three times.

The production is available in the West End from May 2026 until April 2027. It is described as a Broadway sensation and as “screamingly good fun” by Variety, with Entertainment Weekly calling it a “feast for the eyes and soul”.

Key facts: Limited West End run from May 2026 to April 2027. From 24 July 2026, all matinee performances start at 2.30pm instead of 3pm.
