SALOMEA brings new album "axxxis"

German Jazz Awards "Artist of the Year" Rebekka Salomea returns with SALOMEA's fourth album, axxxis, out 2 October 2026, followed by a London performance at PizzaExpress Live Soho on 4 October.

Having been named "Artist of the Year" at the 2026 German Jazz Awards, Rebekka Salomea enters a new chapter with SALOMEA. On 2 October 2026, the band will release their fourth album, axxxis – a deeply personal, intuitive record shaped by trust, vulnerability and the unmistakable chemistry of a band that has long since become a chosen family.

The release will be followed by a London show at PizzaExpress Live Soho on 4 October, bringing axxxis to the UK stage just two days after its release.
Some records feel like therapy. axxxis feels more like what comes afterwards. The work is far from finished, but the perspective has shifted: less pressure, less need to prove, more trust in whatever happens next.

At the heart of axxxis are Rebekka Salomea's personal stories – tender, vulnerable and, at times, absurd. The result is intimate without becoming heavy, and emotional without insisting on catharsis. Following Good Life, an album born from the many shades of grief and healing that reclaimed joy as a fundamental human right, SALOMEA now takes another step forward: towards trust.

Rebekka Salomea, Yannis Anft on keys, Oli Lutz on bass and Leif Berger on drums give each other space, trusting that things will find their way as long as everyone listens to their instincts, and to each other. axxxis is more than an album title.
