Moulin Rouge! The Musical at the Piccadilly Theatre, London brings Baz Luhrmann’s film to the stage as a musical mash-up built around glamour, romance and the story’s themes of Truth, Beauty, Freedom and Love. Directed by Tony Award winner Alex Timbers, it combines a book by Tony Award winner John Logan with music supervision, orchestrations and arrangements by Tony Award winner Justin Levine, and choreography by Tony Award winner Sonya Tayeh.

The show is set in a world of glitz, grandeur and electrifying energy, where Bohemians and aristocrats mix at the Moulin Rouge. It is presented as a stage adaptation rather than a straightforward retelling, with the production designed to capture the style and spirit of the film in live performance.
