Stranger Things: The First Shadow is playing at the Phoenix Theatre in London. Set in Hawkins in 1959, it follows young Jim Hopper, Bob Newby’s sister, Joyce Maldonado and new student Henry Creel as everyday life in town begins to change.

Brought to life by a multi-award-winning creative team, the production uses theatrical storytelling and stagecraft to return to the beginning of the Stranger Things story. It has received five-star reviews from The Guardian, The Telegraph and The Standard.

Before you book

Recommended for ages 12+. Under 5s are not permitted, and under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. The production contains gunfire audio, loud noises, explosions, haze, smoke, flashing lights and strobe, strong language, and depictions of mental health conditions and disorders.

The venue opens 90 minutes before the start time, and you should arrive at least 30 minutes before. Latecomers will be admitted at a suitable point, which may be the interval. No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase.
