About Stranger Things: The First Shadow

Stranger Things: The First Shadow is a stage production set in Hawkins in 1959, before the world turned upside down. It follows young Jim Hopper, Bob Newby and Joyce Maldonado as they deal with everyday town worries, while new student Henry Creel arrives and finds that a fresh start is not as simple as it seems.

Brought to life by a multi-award-winning creative team, the production uses theatrical storytelling and stagecraft to return to the beginning of the Stranger Things story. It has received five-star reviews from The Guardian, The Telegraph and The Standard.

Running time: Approx. 3 hrs, including an interval.

Before you book

Recommended 12+. Under 5s are not permitted. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. The production contains gunfire audio, loud noises, explosions, haze, smoke, flashing lights and strobe, strong language, and depictions of mental health conditions and disorders.

The venue opens 90 minutes before the start time, and you should arrive 30 minutes before the performance. Latecomers will be admitted at a suitable point, which may be the interval. No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase.
