Stranger Things: The First Shadow

About Stranger Things: The First Shadow

Stranger Things: The First Shadow at the Phoenix Theatre is set in Hawkins in 1959, before the events of the Stranger Things story. Young Jim Hopper’s car will not start, Bob Newby’s sister does not take his radio show seriously, Joyce Maldonado wants to graduate and leave town, and new student Henry Creel brings fresh complications for his family.

Brought to life by a multi-award-winning creative team, the production uses theatrical storytelling and stagecraft to explore the beginning of the Stranger Things timeline.

Running time: Approx 3 hrs including an interval.
