About The Snowman
The Snowman at Sadler's Wells Theatre is a new staging of Raymond Briggs’ much-loved book. It brings the Christmas Eve story to the stage with Howard Blake’s score, including Walking In The Air, alongside puppets and the tale of a young boy whose snowman comes to life.
The story follows their journey from the boy’s home to the starlit sky, where they meet Father Christmas, reindeer and the Snowman’s friends beneath the Northern Lights. The production is directed and choreographed by Olivier award-winning Will Tuckett, with set and costume design by multi-award-winning Anna Fleischle.
It runs for 90 minutes, including one 20 minute interval.
