About The Snowman
The Snowman at Sadler's Wells Theatre is a new staging based on Raymond Briggs’ cherished book. It brings Howard Blake’s score to the stage, including the Christmas classic Walking In The Air, with crafted puppets and the story of a young boy and the snowman he brings to life on Christmas Eve.
The production follows their journey as they glide together across the starlit sky and meet Father Christmas, a herd of friendly reindeer and the snowman’s friends beneath the Northern Lights. It is directed and choreographed by Olivier award-winning Will Tuckett, with set and costume design by multi-award-winning Anna Fleischle.
Duration: 90 minutes, including one 20 minute interval.
