About The Snowman
The Snowman is a brand-new staging at Sadler's Wells Theatre, based on Raymond Briggs’ cherished book. This production brings the story to life with Howard Blake’s score, including the Christmas classic Walking In The Air, alongside beautifully crafted puppets and a story centred on a boy and his snowman.
When Christmas Eve magic gives the snowman life, the pair set off on an adventure that includes Father Christmas, a herd of friendly reindeer and a party beneath the Northern Lights. The production is directed and choreographed by Olivier award-winning Will Tuckett, with set and costume design by multi-award-winning Anna Fleischle.
This is described as a family adventure for young audiences and those young at heart, with a new look for a much-loved story.
Duration: 90 minutes, including one 20 minute interval. Suitable for all ages.
