Harry Potter And The Cursed Child

About Harry Potter and The Cursed Child

Harry Potter and The Cursed Child is a play by Jack Thorne, based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany. It received its world premiere in London’s West End at the Palace Theatre in summer 2016.

Nineteen years after Harry, Ron and Hermione saved the wizarding world, the story follows a new adventure set at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Harry’s youngest son, Albus, is drawn into the challenges of a family legacy he never wanted, while past and present begin to collide.

The production is the most awarded play in history and the most awarded West End play in the history of the Olivier Awards. It won a record-breaking nine Olivier Awards in 2017, including Best New Play and Best Director.
