Harry Potter and The Cursed Child at the Palace Theatre is a new play by Jack Thorne, based on an original story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany. It first premiered in London’s West End in summer 2016 and continues the story 19 years after Harry, Ron and Hermione saved the wizarding world.
The production follows Harry and his youngest son, Albus, as they face a new adventure at Hogwarts. The story brings together mysterious forces, time travel and a battle to stop events that could alter the future.
It is the most awarded play in history and the most awarded West End play in Olivier Awards history, with a record-breaking nine wins in 2017 including Best New Play and Best Director.
Duration: 2 hours, 55 minutes. One 20 minute interval.
Age guidance: recommended for ages 8+. Children under 5 are not permitted, Babes in Arms are not admitted to the auditorium, and all persons entering the theatre must have a ticket. Patrons under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
