Harry Potter And The Cursed Child

About Harry Potter and The Cursed Child

Harry Potter and The Cursed Child at the Palace Theatre in London’s West End is a new play by Jack Thorne, based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany. Set 19 years after Harry, Ron and Hermione saved the wizarding world, it follows Harry’s youngest son, Albus, as he struggles with family legacy and a new generation at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

The production opened in London in summer 2016 and is described as the most awarded play in history. It is also the most awarded West End play in the history of the Olivier Awards, with a record-breaking nine wins in 2017, including Best New Play and Best Director.

As past and present begin to collide, the story moves through spells, time travel and an attempt to stop mysterious forces while the future hangs in the balance.

Duration: 2 hours, 55 minutes, plus one 20 minute interval.
