Harry Potter and The Cursed Child - One-Part is a play based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany. It premiered in London’s West End at the Palace Theatre in summer 2016 and is the most awarded West End play in the history of the Olivier Awards, with a record-breaking nine wins including Best New Play and Best Director in 2017.

Nineteen years after Harry, Ron and Hermione saved the wizarding world, they return in a new adventure alongside a new generation at Hogwarts. The story follows Harry and his son Albus as spells, time travel and mysterious forces bring past and present into conflict.

This listing is for the One-Part production, which begins from 9th October with a reimagined production. The Two-Part show’s final performance is on 20th September.

Running time: 2 hours, 55 minutes, including one 20-minute interval.

Before you book

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is recommended for children aged 8+. All persons entering the theatre, regardless of age, must have a ticket. Children under 5 are not permitted, babes in arms are not admitted to the auditorium, and patrons under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
