About A Christmas Carol
A Christmas Carol returns to The Old Vic in Matthew Warchus’ production of Charles Dickens’ classic, adapted for the stage by Jack Thorne. The show fills the auditorium with mince pies, music and merriment, and uses a unique staging that places the audience inside this festive adaptation.
This production is described as London’s longest running adaptation of Dickens’ beloved story. It offers a stage version of the tale in a setting that has become closely associated with the production.
Performances run from 12 November 2026 at 7.30pm to 9 January 2027 at 7pm.
