Into The Woods

About Into The Woods

Into The Woods is a West End production of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s musical, transferring from a critically acclaimed run at The Bridge Theatre this September. Directed by Jordan Fein, with set and costume design by Tom Scutt, this new production brings together fairytale figures in a single story for the stage.

The show follows the Baker and his wife, a Witch with a curse, a boy and his cow, a girl in a red cloak, a maiden with long flowing hair and a servant covered in cinders as they journey deep into the woods. As wishes are made, slippers are lost and beanstalks take flight, the story looks beyond ‘Happily ever after’ to what comes next.

Key facts: Audio described performances take place at 7.30 pm on Friday 9 October 2026, and captioned performances at 7.30 pm on Monday 9 November 2026.
