Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s Into The Woods transfers to the West End this September after a critically acclaimed run at The Bridge Theatre. Directed by Jordan Fein, with set and costume design by Tom Scutt, this production follows The Baker and his wife, a Witch with a curse, a boy and his cow, a girl in a red cloak, a maiden with long flowing hair and a servant covered in cinders as they journey deep into the woods.
As the stories intertwine, wishes are made, slippers are lost and beanstalks take flight. The show explores what comes after “Happily ever after”, as new friendships are forged along the way.
