Into The Woods is Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's musical in the West End. Fresh from a critically acclaimed run at The Bridge Theatre, this production is directed by Jordan Fein, with set and costume design by Tom Scutt.
The show follows the Baker and his wife, a Witch with a curse, a boy and his cow, a girl in a red cloak, a maiden with long flowing hair and a servant covered in cinders as they journey into the woods. As their paths entwine, wishes are made, slippers are lost, beanstalks take flight and new friendships are forged.
The production has been described by The Times as "stunning" and by The Standard as "a triumphant musical mash-up of fairytales".
