UFO 離奇命案

UK Festival Premiere

Twenty-five years ago, a schoolboy named Ho disappeared mysteriously on Tung Tau Hill. His friends claimed he was taken by aliens, creating a media sensation. Now, in an era obsessed with alien conspiracies, various parties return to the scene for different reasons. An influencer stages a prank for clicks, but the script goes awry, leading to a real murder, blackmail, and even an "alien" appearance. Made on a budget of only HK$3 million with four locations and an 11-day shoot, the film uses a "story-within-a-story-within-a-story" structure and non-linear timelines to deliver a wildly entertaining black comedy-a Hong Kong answer to One Cut of the Dead. It revives the city's classic black humor while satirizing the collective madness of the influencer age.

After the screening, there will be a briefing and Q&A session about The Hong Kong Top Talent Pass Scheme as well as the UK's Global Talent Scheme.
