Review of Players Bingo - Camden

Absolutely amazing night out, the staff were the friendliest I have ever come across qnd really went out of their way to make the night fun and enjoyable.

I will definitely be back and would not hesitate to recommend Playerz to friends and family

Pop up food consisted of greasy chips - £4!
Chips with garlic £5. Chicken wings, onion rings, nachos and a few burgers. This was proper old school bingo food. really awful quality.
As for the advertised Craft beer - all were an eye watering  £6 for a 330ml bottle of either Camden Hells, Brooklyn Lager or Brewdog.
The cheapest drink was a bottle of peroni at £5. 
Spirits with mixer were upwards of £7.50. 

When it comes the the advertised cabaret / there wasn’t any?! They had a band playing at various pints but they didn’t sing once - it was all background music. Half the time they say around in their phones. 

The  3 games of bingo included in your ticket took over 3 hours to get through! A lady was calling the numbers from an old litterycstyle machine, a guy was then marking them up on the electronic board. A simple task you’d think? But no - either the lady called the wrong numbers or he was lighting up the wrong ones because it was a complete shambles - several times the numbers called didn’t match those in the board. 

A group left half way through because they couldn’t bear anymore of it and gave us their tickets. 

There were also two additional games of table top bingo  you could play for £1. You could win £20 for getting the house.

Don’t get too excited over the prizes though. 
One line £20, 2 lines £30, full house £50. And a choice of prize. 
One person won a 32inch tv, another a digital camera and another a drone. 

A very expensive night for a poorly run shambolic evening. Will not be returning even if it was free!
