Relics at the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre is the world premiere of Ben Ockrent’s darkly comic family drama, directed by the award-winning Michael Longhurst. The story follows four siblings who reunite in their recently deceased mother’s home to divide her belongings, only for a long-buried family secret to surface and force them to confront what they know about each other.
Liv is determined to force life back to how it was, Rob wants everyone to keep the peace, Michelle has reached the end of her patience, and Jonny arrives ready to push every button. The result is a play about inherited legacies, family tension and the compromises of growing up.
