The event itself was enjoyable, but the VIP experience at LDN East was poorly managed and did not match what was advertised. Doors opened 20-30 minutes late, the VIP balcony was unavailable for part of the event, and access was not properly controlled, meaning non-VIP guests could use the same space and bar. This significantly reduced the value of the premium tick*t.

Review of Country Club - Outdoor Country Music Festival - London

Not at all as described. Very misleading to call this a music festival. Very small space for the amount of people and not a safe feeling venue either.

The crowd was packed in like sardines so it made dancing difficult. The music selection didn't include many of the top country songs of the last 7-10 years and opted for gimmicks. The 'VIP' section was essentially a pig trough and the atmosphere had an aggressive vibe. A very poor investment on my part.

This definitely was not anything like a festival, it was nothing like described on the internet, the live music was at most an hour out of 8 hours and the line dance lessons were limited to 2 lasting approximately 15 minutes in total. After 8 o'clock there was more pop music than country music, I would not recommend This as a country music event or a festival. If the people attending were not wearing cowboy hats and cowboy boots you would not have known this was a country event. Regarding the VIP, the so called roof top bar served warm beer or limited choice with no fridge, no ice, no tonic, no Diet C**e , limited seating, disgraceful and very disappointed. The venue and music area was several containers making a square on concrete again with no seating so only option is to stand in a crowded square if you wanted to see anything other that container walls.

Very good event drink prices were ridiculously expensive

We booked our tick*ts for this event on the back of the instagram post we saw online, which made it look like a classy, fun outdoor country festival. In reality we paid to visit a trading estate in east london, next door to a scrap yard, c***king views of the A12 and surrounding council estates. The dance floor was a sweaty, overcrowded space in between stacked shipping containers.  Drinks were warm and over priced, and most of the afternoon country music wasnt even being played. Sure I heard Neil Diamond at one point... total waste of money!

Had a great time at the event, but we've previously been to the one at Wembley and think that's better. The open air at LDN East meant it was really hot and too busy, and everyone was smoking or vaping which I personally hate, plus my sister is pregnant and can't be around that for too long, so we had to leave earlier than we would have done. They were even selling vapes there which meant it was endless. 

There was also only one food stand which wasn't enough and was badly organised. They got a couple of our orders completely wrong & getting it fixed took ages, and service was slow so it was so busy. 

Also because the venue space was smaller, it was missing the country mini games that we've seen at other events - lasso throwing, rodeo bull etc. it didn't feel as on-brand as before, and the DJ for some reason played a few songs that weren't country songs, which was a strange choice that cleared the dance floor a bit. 

The line dancing was the highlight though! That was such good fun, and we'd definitely like to do that again - we actually wished it had happened again during the day so we could do it twice. 

I love the country club events and we'd definitely book another one, but wouldn't go to another one in this venue, and wouldn't go to another one that's open air unless  smoking and vaping is banned / has a specific smoking area for it.

For that number of people there should be more food locations to not stand in queue for hours
