Double Bill: Tell Me Straight & Aggy

About Double Bill: Tell Me Straight & Aggy

Double Bill: Tell Me Straight & Aggy at the Kings Head brings together two plays by Paul Bradshaw in one evening. Following a critically acclaimed run at the Park Theatre, this double bill pairs Tell Me Straight and Aggy, with design by Olivier nominated Damien Stanton, lighting by OFFIE winner Cheng Keng, sound by BBTA winner Eamonn O’Dwyer and video by Stage Award shortlisted Matt Powell.

Tell Me Straight, starring Bradshaw, is a fast-paced, semi-autobiographical coming-of-adulthood play about navigating sexuality and desire. Him’s dating life has one thing in common: the men are all straight. With support from best friend Dani, and a 30-day detox that rules out booze, fast food and men, the play follows what happens when distractions start to test that resolve.

Aggy is a one-act play about privilege, gender, race and creativity. It follows Lawrence and Mahlik, who have been together for a year and are considering moving in together, as a risky idea for Lawrence’s next project brings questions of art, opportunity and identity into sharper focus.

Duration: Both plays run for 70 mins each.
