About Double Bill: Tell Me Straight & Aggy

Following a critically acclaimed run at the Park Theatre, Paul Bradshaw returns to the Kings Head with Double Bill: Tell Me Straight & Aggy. The evening brings together two plays: tell me straight, a fast-paced, semi-autobiographical coming-of-adulthood story about sexuality, and aggy, a one-act play about privilege, gender, race and creativity.

tell me straight follows Him as he tries to make sense of his long line of hookups, all of whom are straight, while his best friend Dani pushes him to find someone who actually likes gay men. In aggy, Lawrence and Mahlik’s relationship is tested when a risky career suggestion brings new success and uncomfortable truths to the surface.

The production features design by Olivier-nominated Damien Stanton, lighting by OFFIE winner Cheng Keng, sound by BBTA winner Eamonn O’Dwyer and video by Stage Award shortlisted Matt Powell.

Key facts: Both plays run for 70 minutes each.
