Review of hypernight

When I got to this venue we where 1 hour late for the paint session so I can understand that we could not paint. But... the security guard was an absolute ass hole. From the moment I got to this venue he was acting as if I slapped his mum. 
He actually asked me ..why are you here this is not for you. 

I understand  that the the party is predominantly black but why does it need to matter what colour  my skin is. And.. I will just add I’m actually probably blacker than he is.  I was brought up fully Nigerian I speak my native language I go back home every year but I’m extremely light and could pass for a white person.

Anyway when we finally go into the event because he wasn’t going to let me in, the floor we where on was a-bit empty I think because people where finishing off their paint session. 
So me and my friend where looking around the place and started heading downstairs the the security guard is like to me, oi your stating to piss me off now I’m gonna kick you out. Like seriously wtf. When I went to go out to smoke the man is like what do you want where are you going , I’m like to smoke the he kisses his teeth at me.
The reason I was even at that event is it was my ‘black’ cousins birthday she was there with my other black cousins and friends. I was actually very excited to go to this event and have some fun but the security guard was an ass. 
Security are ment to be people is accentpeople and keep it place safe if you don’t like people why do the job. 
I actually find it so funny, because he’s grown some dreads now he’s suddenly a plant based black panther. What makes me laugh even more is that his accent was so British.

If you don’t like your job don’t do it. 

I was so excited to go to this event and experience something different and this guy just downed my whole night. I was so uncomfortable and could not relax. I actually wonder if this is the way they treat people all the time and how many people just let it happen to them and walk away.
Well not me.
