2026 EFG London Jazz Festival: Sabina Desir

MORE THAN A CONCERT. AN EXPERIENCE TO BE SHARED.

Freedom Road Re-Imagined brings together extraordinary archive photography, filmed footage and a powerful live ensemble in an intimate, immersive musical experience.

Featuring the work of celebrated photographers Charlie Phillips OBE and Vanley Burke, and led by vocalist and artistic director Sabina Désir with musical direction by Jessica Lauren, the production explores Black British life, identity, resilience and belonging through music and image.

With an exceptional line-up of acclaimed musicians, including award-winning drummer Winston Clifford and Paul Hamlyn Award recipient Jason Yarde, expect a richly layered journey through soul, blues, jazz and beyond.

This is your opportunity to experience the images up close, feel the music in an intimate setting and encounter a story that is both culturally specific and universally human.

Come for the music. Stay for the experience.
