The Phantom of the Opera at 57 Haymarket, London, tells the story of the Phantom, who lives hidden beneath the Paris Opera House, and his love for Christine Daaé. Andrew Lloyd Webber’s score, along with the scenery and special effects, brings the musical’s tragic story to the stage.

First opening at His Majesty’s Theatre on Thursday 9 October 1986 with Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman in the leading roles, the show has gone on to win 70 major theatre awards and has been seen by over 140 million people worldwide.

Duration: 2 hours and 30 minutes including one interval. Performances: Monday to Friday at 7.30pm; Saturday at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.

Before you book

Children under 4 are not admitted. Anyone aged 16 or under must be accompanied by an adult and may not sit on their own in the auditorium. Every person entering the theatre, regardless of age, must have a valid ticket.

You will receive a confirmation email with your e-ticket. Please print it and bring it on the day, and arrive at least 30 minutes before the performance start time. You may also need to present valid ID.

No exchanges or refunds are available after purchase. Please note that Stalls Row N-S have the top of the staging obscured by the Royal Circle overhang, and single seats cannot be left in a row when booking.
