The Cherry Orchard is at the Harold Pinter Theatre in the West End, London. Kristin Scott Thomas (Slow Horses, The English Patient) stars as Lyubov Ranevskaya in this major new West End revival of Anton Chekhov’s play, directed by Ian Rickson and featuring a new adaptation by Conor McPherson.
The production plays a strictly limited season from 3 October 2026 to 9 January 2027. It is produced by Sonia Friedman and reunites Rickson and Scott Thomas following their collaborations on The Seagull, Electra and Betrayal.
Chekhov’s story is presented here in a new adaptation that centres on Scott Thomas in the role of Lyubov Ranevskaya.
