

Cameron Mackintosh’s new production of Lionel Bart’s Oliver! is at the Gielgud Theatre in London. Fully reconceived with director and choreographer Matthew Bourne, it follows a sold-out season at Chichester Festival Theatre and tells Dickens’ story of the boy who asked for more.
The musical features the well-known score with Food Glorious Food, Consider Yourself, You’ve Got to Pick-a-Pocket or Two, I’d Do Anything, Oom Pah Pah and As Long As He Needs Me. It is described as an Olivier, Tony and Oscar-winning masterpiece, and this production is a Cameron Mackintosh & Chichester Festival Theatre production.

Simon Lipkin plays Fagin, Shanay Holmes plays Nancy, Aaron Sidwell plays Bill Sikes, Billy Jenkins plays the Artful Dodger and Philip Franks plays Mr Brownlow. Matt Lucas will play Fagin from 22 September to 1 November 2026.
