About Oliver! at the Gielgud Theatre

Oliver! at the Gielgud Theatre is Cameron Mackintosh’s new production of Lionel Bart’s musical, opening in London on Saturday 14 December 2024 after a sold-out season at Chichester Festival Theatre. It is directed and choreographed by Matthew Bourne, with co-direction from Jean-Pierre van der Spuy.

The Olivier, Tony and Oscar-winning musical brings Charles Dickens’ story of the boy who asked for more to the stage. Its score includes Food Glorious Food, Consider Yourself, You’ve Got to Pick-a-Pocket or Two, I’d Do Anything, Oom Pah Pah and As Long As He Needs Me.
