Comedy Box

About

Expect a hand-picked line-up of top-tier comedy talent, fresh jokes and plenty of moments that will have you laughing all the way home. And with some big hitters joining us this September, you’ll want to get your tickets before someone else beats you to it.

New night, same Comedy Box energy. From September, Comedy Box moves to Thursdays, giving you the perfect excuse to clock off, head to the Pier and ease into the weekend a little earlier than usual.

This month's line up includes:
Aurie Styla is an award-winning London comedian, actor and writer, fresh off his 100+ show tour 'The Aurator' and a 2025 JFL New Face of Comedy nod. Seen on BBC, ITV and Sky, and heard on his own Radio 4 series Tech Talk.

Tom Houghton is a comedian who has learned to turn his own privileged upbringing into brilliantly self-aware comedy. TV credits include Netflix and Comedy Central, alongside millions of online views and hosting Very British Problems. He's currently touring internationally with his new show 'Deep' (extended from May 2026).

Maple Zuo is a Chinese-Mongolian comedian featured on BBC's Cultural Frontline, and a regular at Comedy Store, Backyard, Up the Creek, Bill Murray, and Angel Comedy Club. She's won Comedy Store's King Gong and Up the Creek's Blackout, and was a finalist for the Funny Women Awards 2025 and Leicester Square Theatre's New Act of the Year 2023.

Jessie Nixon is a fast-rising Bristolian comedian whose five-star 2025 Edinburgh Fringe show earned her a feature in The Observer and nominations for the Ish Comedy Awards and Chortle Comedians' Comedian Award. She's also won Chortle Hotshots 2025, and in 2026 performed across New Zealand's International Comedy Festival and appeared on 7 Days. She's supported Fern Brady, Lou Sanders, Helen Bauer and Kate Butch on tour.

Arrive early and make a night of it with our pre-show happy hour at Orange Box, with 30% off selected beers, wines and cocktails. Because every good comedy night deserves a drink in hand.

Bring your friends, grab a drink and settle in for a Thursday night of seriously good comedy.

Tickets are already moving, so grab yours now and don’t be the one hearing about the jokes the next day.
