In 1987, DJ Cash Money went on to make music history as the only DJ to win all three major DJ championships. Astonishingly, he won all three in one year's time: The New Music Seminar DJ Battle (NYC) and the DMC American DJ Championship (San Diego, CA). In 1988, he was crowned the World's Greatest DJ by winning and representing the United States at the DMC Technics DJ World Finals held at the Royal Albert Hall (London, England).

When Sleeping Bag Records folded, DJ Cash Money started producing and djing for the multi-platinum group PM Dawn... They toured with Paul McCartney, Lenny Kravitz, Peter Gabriel, and many other notable artists.

DJ Cash Money was the first inductee into the Technics Hall of Fame. His techniques and innovations on turntables are recognized worldwide. Even in today's digital world, you can see how the equipment has utilized his innovations, earning him the title of "One of the most Influential DJs ever.”
