About RENT

RENT is playing at the Duke of York’s Theatre in London. Jonathan Larson’s musical returns to the West End in a new production directed by Luke Sheppard, with Gaten Matarazzo as Mark. Inspired by Puccini’s La Bohème, it tells the story of a generation facing uncertainty while holding onto joy, community and resilience.

First staged 30 years ago, RENT remains a story about connection and about making every moment count. The production includes a score and themes that continue to speak to modern audiences.
