RENT returns to the West End at the Duke of York’s Theatre, St. Martin’s Lane, London, WC2N 4BG. Thirty years after it redefined musical theatre, Jonathan Larson’s groundbreaking musical is back in a bold new production directed by Luke Sheppard and starring Gaten Matarazzo as Mark.

Inspired by Puccini’s La Bohème, RENT follows a generation shaped by joy, uncertainty and resilience. It tells a story about community, connection and making every moment count.

With a score and story that continue to resonate, the musical carries the production’s central message: No day but today.
