RENT is playing at the Duke of York’s Theatre in London’s West End. Thirty years after it redefined musical theatre, Jonathan Larson’s musical returns in a new production directed by Luke Sheppard, with Gaten Matarazzo as Mark.
Inspired by Puccini’s La Bohème, RENT follows a generation facing joy, uncertainty and resilience as it tries to make every moment count. The show is known for its score and for a story that continues to resonate with audiences.
