Wild About You

About Wild About You

Wild About You at The Arches, London is a musical about Billy, a young man on the day of his high school graduation party, who finds a trunk of letters written to him by his late mother. Having been told she abandoned him as a child, he sets off with his best friend Scoot to uncover the truth about his past and his connection to a woman he never knew.

The songwriting pays homage to the lyrical world of Joni Mitchell and Carole King, with melodies and harmonies that draw on the artists who followed them. The score moves through nouveau-folk, pop, country-pop and soul, and the show uses an ensemble of characters from different walks of life.
