About Wild About You
Wild About You at The Arches, London follows Billy on the day of his high school graduation party. Feeling unsure about his future, he finds a trunk of letters written to him by his late mother, who he was told abandoned him as a child. Billy and his best friend Scoot then set out to uncover the truth about his past and his connection to a woman he never knew.
The songwriting pays homage to the lyrical world of Joni Mitchell and Carole King, with melodies and harmonies that draw on the artists who followed them. The score brings together nouveau-folk, pop, country-pop and soul, with music that is tailored to the story being told on stage.
