About Wild About You

Wild About You at The Arches, London follows Billy on the day of his high school graduation party. Feeling at odds with his future before it has even begun, he finds a trunk of letters written to him by his late mother, who he had been told abandoned him as a child. The discovery sends Billy and his best friend Scoot on a search for the truth about his past and his connection to a woman he never knew.

The songwriting pays homage to the lyrical world of Joni Mitchell and Carole King. Its melodies and harmonies draw on nouveau-folk, pop, country-pop and soul, and the show features an ensemble of characters from all walks of life.
