Wild About You

About Wild About You

Wild About You at The Arches, London, follows Billy on the day of his high school graduation party. Feeling uncertain about his future before it has even begun, he discovers a trunk of letters written to him by his late mother, who he was told had abandoned him as a child.

The discovery sends Billy and his best friend Scoot on a search for the truth about his past, and about his connection to a woman he never knew. The songwriting pays homage to the lyrical world of Joni Mitchell and Carole King, with melodies and harmonies that draw on the artists who followed them.

The score brings together nouveau-folk, pop, country-pop and soul, and the show features an ensemble of characters from across different walks of life.
