Wild About You

About Wild About You

Wild About You at The Arches, London follows Billy on the day of his high school graduation party, when he finds a trunk of letters written by his late mother, who he was told abandoned him as a child. The discovery sends him and his best friend Scoot on a journey to uncover the truth about his past and his connection to a woman he never knew.

The songwriting pays homage to the lyrical world of Joni Mitchell and Carole King, with melodies and harmonies drawing on the artists who followed them. The score brings together nouveau-folk, pop, country-pop and soul, with an ensemble of characters from different walks of life.

The production explores themes of identity, direction and fulfilment through a story centred on family, memory and self-discovery.
