About Wild About You
Wild About You at The Arches, London follows Billy on the day of his high school graduation party. Feeling uncertain about his future, he finds a trunk of letters written to him by his late mother, who he was told abandoned him as a child.
As Billy and his best friend Scoot set out to uncover the truth about his past, the story explores his connection to a woman he never knew and what that means for where he stands in the world.
The songwriting pays homage to the lyrical world of Joni Mitchell and Carole King, with melodies and harmonies drawing on artists that followed them. The score brings together nouveau-folk, pop, country-pop and soul.
