About Wild About You

Wild About You at The Arches, London follows Billy on the day of his high school graduation party, when he finds a trunk of letters written to him by the mother he was told had abandoned him as a child. With his best friend Scoot, he sets out to uncover the truth about his past and the woman who may help him understand where he stands in the world.

The songwriting pays homage to the lyrical world of Joni Mitchell and Carole King, with melodies and harmonies that draw on the artists who followed them. The score brings together nouveau-folk, pop, country-pop and soul, shaping the story through music.

An ensemble of characters from all walks of life appears in the production as Billy’s search unfolds.
