Wild About You

About Wild About You

Wild About You at The Arches, London follows Billy on the day of his high school graduation party, when he finds a trunk of letters written to him by his late mother. Told she abandoned him as a child, Billy begins a journey with his best friend Scoot to uncover the truth about his past and his connection to a woman he never knew.

The songwriting pays homage to the lyrical world of Joni Mitchell and Carole King, with melodies and harmonies influenced by the artists that followed them. The score brings together nouveau-folk, pop, country-pop and soul, and the story is built around an ensemble of characters from different walks of life.

The production explores identity, family and direction, with the idea that love is what is left behind running through the story.
