About Wild About You

Wild About You at The Arches, London follows Billy on the day of his high school graduation party, when he finds a trunk of letters written to him by his late mother. Told that she abandoned him as a child, Billy and his best friend Scoot set out to uncover the truth about his past and his connection to a woman he never knew.

The songwriting pays homage to the lyrical world of Joni Mitchell and Carole King, with melodies and harmonies that draw on the artists who followed them. The music spans nouveau-folk, pop, country-pop and soul, supporting a story built around an ensemble of characters from all walks of life.

Ages 12 years and older.

Key facts: The show combines storytelling with music across nouveau-folk, pop, country-pop and soul, and is performed by an ensemble cast of characters.
