Wild About You

About Wild About You

Wild About You at The Arches, London follows Billy on the day of his high school graduation party. Feeling uncertain about his future, he finds a trunk of letters written to him by his late mother, who he was told abandoned him as a child. He and his best friend Scoot then set out to uncover the truth about his past and his connection to a woman he never knew.

The show’s songwriting pays homage to the lyrical world of Joni Mitchell and Carole King, with melodies and harmonies shaped by those artists and the generations that followed them. The music spans nouveau-folk, pop, country-pop and soul, supporting a story built around identity, family and the search for direction.
