About Cinderella: Buttons Undone!

Cinderella: Buttons Undone! plays at Charing Cross Theatre, The Arches, London, and brings London’s alternative Christmas pantomime back for another run. Written by Jon Bradfield and Martin Hooper, with songs by Jon Bradfield and direction by Andrew Beckett, it is an adult pantomime from the award-winning He’s Behind You! team.

The story is set in Lob-on-Sea, where tennis champion Ivan Yassandvich is choosing a bride. Hotel maid Cindy, her stepsister boss Mercedes and Cindy’s gay best friend Buttons are pulled into the chaos in a fairytale that keeps the Cinderella story as its starting point while moving firmly into adult territory.

Last year’s He’s Behind You! show was Beauty and the Beast: A Horny Love Story. This production features Matthew Baldwin and Chris Lane.
