About Cinderella: Buttons Undone!
Cinderella: Buttons Undone! at Charing Cross Theatre is a return of London's alternative Christmas show from award-winning adult panto company He's Behind You! Written by Jon Bradfield and Martin Hooper, with songs by Jon Bradfield and direction by Andrew Beckett, it reworks the Cinderella story as a strictly adult pantomime.
The story is set in the resort of Lob-on-Sea, where tennis champion Ivan Yassandvich is choosing a bride. Hotel maid Cindy and her stepsister boss Mercedes are caught up in the action, while Cindy's gay best friend Buttons tries to avoid getting involved. The production features Matthew Baldwin and Chris Lane, alongside the company’s usual adult, comic approach to the fairytale.
Dates: 21st November 2026 to 9th January 2027.
