Cinderella: Buttons Undone!

About Cinderella: Buttons Undone!

Cinderella: Buttons Undone! at Charing Cross Theatre is an alternative Christmas pantomime from award-winning adult panto company He’s Behind You!. Written by Jon Bradfield and Martin Hooper, with songs by Jon Bradfield and direction by Andrew Beckett, it moves the Cinderella story to Lob-on-Sea, where tennis champion Ivan Yassandvich is choosing a bride.

The show follows Cindy, her stepsister Mercedes and her gay best friend Buttons as they get caught up in a very adult fairytale. It is presented as a deeply adult, gay pantomime rather than a family show, with the cast including Matthew Baldwin and Chris Lane.

The production follows last year’s Beauty and the Beast: A Horny Love Story and is part of He’s Behind You!’s run of adult Christmas theatre.
