Witness for the Prosecution County Hall at London County Hall is Agatha Christie’s courtroom drama, centred on the trial of Leonard Vole, who is accused of murdering a widow to inherit her wealth.

Now in its seventh year, the production has been seen by thousands. The case unfolds in a courtroom setting on London’s Southbank as prosecution, defence and witnesses give their testimony around the audience.

The audience remain seated throughout while the actors move in the aisles, so you can follow the action from your place in the courtroom.

Running time: 2 hours 20 minutes, including a 20-minute interval. Act 1 lasts 1 hour 15 minutes and Act 2 lasts 45 minutes.

Age guidance: Parental guidance applies. Babes in arms are not permitted.

Nearest Tube stations are Waterloo and Westminster, and the nearest main line station is Waterloo. From Waterloo station, follow the exit signs towards Southbank/County Hall attractions, then follow signs to York Road and walk a few minutes along the road; County Hall will be on your left. The entrance of Witness for the Prosecution is located on Belevedere Road. London County Hall is on the South Bank of the River Thames beside the London Eye and Westminster Bridge, opposite the Houses of Parliament.
