About Witness for the Prosecution County Hall

Witness for the Prosecution at London County Hall is Agatha Christie’s courtroom drama presented as an immersive stage production. The story follows Leonard Vole, accused of murdering a widow to inherit her wealth, as the case unfolds through witness testimony, prosecution and defence.

Now in its seventh year, the production places the audience in the middle of the action while the story plays out around them in a courtroom setting. The actors perform in the aisles, while the audience remains seated throughout.

Running time: 2 hours 20 minutes, including a 20 minute interval.

Latecomers may not be admitted and photography is not permitted. Gallery seats are not suitable for people who have difficulty climbing stairs or for vertigo sufferers. For dates before 4th October, separate booking arrangements apply.

The entrance for Witness for the Prosecution is on Belvedere Road; from Waterloo station, follow signs towards Southbank/County Hall attractions, then towards York Road.
